Darkest dungeon is my favorite game ever. And DD 2 is definitely in the top 10. Both games are fantastic, but I would definitely recommend starting with 1, mainly because it’s simpler, has a better tutorial, and once you understand it will make DD2 much more approachable. it’s also a more complete game experience, especially with the .Mods that adds new plot quests: the incandescent whisperer, scarlet ruins, the manor/the twins.
